Mallorca is just the right size to easily get across from one side to the other and yet still surprise you with new places to explore. With so much coastline, even locals continue to discover Mallorca’s hidden beaches with their crystal-blue water.

Here, we reveal our favourites:

Cala Murta

This small gravel and sand beach is 12 km from Puerto de Pollença, close to Formentor. Access by car is currently restricted to 1.5 km from the beach, and to get there you have to walk through a beautiful pine grove. This beach has deep water just a few metres from the shore - perfect for snorkelling!

Cala Figuera

This is our easiest option if you don’t want to walk far. Cala Figuera offers easy access - you can see it from the road on the way to the Formentor Lighthouse. An ideal combo is to spend the day at the beach and then watch the sunset on the lighthouse!

Cala Magraner

A favourite beach for rock climbers and explorers who love the sea floor. This beach in Manacor features imposing cliffs that surround the area. You won’t see a single building, just the majestic natural environment all around you. Incredible!

Calò des Màrmols

Watch out, adventurers - if you want to spend a day at Calò des Màrmols you’ll have to earn it! So pick a time to set out when you can avoid the sun.

This beach doesn’t have direct access or nearby roads. And that means seclusion… If you’re inspired to take the path to this spectacular beach with its turquoise water, you’re almost sure to enjoy it with just a few other people.
