Andreu Genestra offers us a journey through the most authentic Mallorcan flavours with his Cuina de la Terra (Earth cuisine). You’ll experience this in a 15th-century room for only 30 diners and with a top-class waiter service. The restaurant also has a wine cellar with more than 700 wines to choose from, and a trolley of our house-speciality national artisan cheeses
Our bistro is located next to the swimming pool and under a veranda, where the after-dinner snacks are an absolute delight. Here you will find the freshest cuisine from chef Andreu Genestra and his team. Fresh fish dishes straight from the fish market, local meats, and vegan and vegetable dishes from our very own gardens. He began his career in the kitchen scrubbing pots and pans in a tourist hotel when he was only 15 years old. Years later he became the youngest chef in the Balearic Islands to win a Michelin star.
He has worked in the kitchens of Mugaritz and Ferran Adrià's El Bulli. He has also cooked in London, Stockholm, Brazil, Moscow, Paris, and Miami, and even for the royal family in Kuwait.
In April 2011 he decided to open his own restaurant in Predi Son Jaumell Hotel Rural in Capdepera and the Michelin Guide awarded him his first star. In 2020, he was awarded the green star, which further strengthened Genestra's gastronomy in Spain.
