Es una playa que  nos encanta. Si estáis en Menorca no os la perdáis. Pertenece al Área Natural de Especial Interés de la costa sur de Ciutadella, y aparece entre pinos deslumbrando con su azul a quien la visita.

Su nombre viene de las incursiones de piratas turcos que tuvieron lugar en Menorca varios siglos atrás. Es una playa virgen, de tamaño mediano, y cercana a Macarella, otra de las imprescindibles.
Aunque se trata de una playa virgen, tiene baños cerca y hay socorrista. Sus condiciones subacuáticas permiten fondear a embarcaciones inferiores a 12 metros, por eso encontraréis sólo pequeñas embarcaciones en sus aguas.

Para llegar no tendréis ningún problema. Desde Ciutadella siguiendo la señalización llegaréis hasta un aparcamiento gratuito con capacidad para 120 vehículos. Des de ahí deberéis caminar unos 15 minutos hasta la playa, pero merecerán la pena, os lo garantizamos. Si preferís no caminar hay otro aparcamiento más cercano, pero es de pago. Allí encontraréis también un chiringuito para refrescaros si lo necesitáis.

Si queréis un consejo, id a primera o a última hora del día. A mediodía os será más difícil aparcar y no podréis disfrutar tanto de la tranquilidad que se respira en lugares del mundo tan mágicos como este.
