Palma Cathedral in Mallorca
This is a must-see if you’re planning a trip to Palma de Mallorca. The Cathedral of Santa María de Palma de Mallorca, or La Seu, is a Gothic temple built between 1229 and 1346. As well as being the only Gothic cathedral in the city, it’s also the only one which can boast such an incredible location on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
Inside, we can find the largest rose window from Gothic times, and the light that pours through the stained glass windows transforms the interior into something that resembles a film set. It was declared a Historical-Artistic Monument in 1931 and is one of the city's landmarks that you simply have to visit if you only have 3 days in Mallorca.
Cabo de Formentor

Cuevas del Drach
These are one of the island's most popular attractions, and should certainly be on the list of what to visit in Mallorca in 3 days. These unmissable caves are one of the island's natural wonders: four caves that are 25 metres deep and stretch for some 2.4 kilometres.
The four caves, called Cueva Negra, Cueva Blanca, Cueva de Luis Salvador and Cueva de los Franceses, are all connected to each other. In one of the caves, you’ll find an enormous underground lake called Llac Martel.
If you decide you visit the caves then there’s something you shouldn’t miss: in the aforementioned lake, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, there are daily live classical music concerts lasting 10 minutes, and performed by a quartet of musicians. You’ll be very lucky if you get to see one of these concerts, as it’s one of the highlights of a trip to Mallorca.
Caló de's Moro
If you’ve only got 3 days to spend in Mallorca, then a visit to one of its coves is a must, and one of the most beautiful is Caló de's Moro. Its white sand, turquoise blue waters, and unspoilt nature make it one of the most beautiful coves in Mallorca.
The cove is somewhat hidden away - located in the southeast of the island, 6 km from Santanyí. It’s quite popular with the locals, especially at the weekends in Mallorca, and tends to get a bit crowded during the summer, so make sure you get there early.
It’s one of the must-see coves in Mallorca, some 40 metres in length with beautiful scenery and calm waters. However, you should bear in mind that there are no facilities nearby, and so you’ll have to bring parasols, sun loungers, and food. Parking is free though, and it’s a great option for a day at the beach in the summer, or simply to see the wonderful scenery.
Valldemossa
If you only have 3 days to spend in Mallorca, then visiting the village of Valldemossa should be a priority. It’s quite simply one of the most beautiful villages you could find on the Mediterranean islands.
With a charm that has seduced people of the caliber of French pianist Frédéric Chopin, the poet Rubén Darío, or the writer Jorge Luis Borges, its small, cobbled, and undulating streets, the medieval façades on many of its buildings, and the spectacular mountain views make it a different, yet beautiful destination. It’s well worth a visit even if it’s only for an afternoon during your weekend getaway in Mallorca.
