The TransVIVAnia Hotel is a paradise where all the little monsters can be safe during the Halloween weekend. Dracula, the Invisible Man, the Mummy and Frankenstein have decided to stay with us and spend a monstrously fun night.

Halloween is one of the most eagerly awaited nights of the year for both the adults and kids of the house. And at VIVA Hotels we want to celebrate it with our guests, so we're going to transform our VIVA Blue & Spa Hotel into TransVIVAnia Hotel! This way, the whole family can enjoy fun, terrifying activities that will leave everyone with their hair standing on end.

We will put together a complete programme of activities for all ages, which will impress even the most demanding guests. A Halloween fancy dress contest, magic, dance, food and themed sports are just some of the alternatives that VIVA Hotels will offer this year to celebrate Halloween in style.

Enjoy Halloween at the VIVA Blue & Spa Hotel

In the VIVA Blue & Spa Hotel we will be celebrating for 4 consecutive days, from October 31st to November 3rd, days on which the adults and children of the house can enter our "Hotel TransVIVAnia" and enjoy themselves to the max. Throughout each day you will find countless activities to choose from, divided by age.

The children of the house will be able to choose between activities within the Mini Maxi category, which include such fun alternatives as a magic show, monster puree, Dracula Olympics, Mummy football, a blood foam party, an acrobatics show, TransVIVAnia makeup, a mini disco and themed dinners. On Thursday 30th, the programme begins at 18:00 and the other days at 10:30, lasting until the evening.

Young people and sporty types will have their own programme of activities, not just on Halloween night. Kicking off with a welcome aperitif at the Hotel TransVIVAnia, over the rest of the days you can enjoy delicious meals and original cocktails. On Saturday November 2nd, we'll have a big themed dinner, with an entirely themed buffet and the participation of our monster team. They can also choose from spooky games such as terrifying table tennis, pool in the woods, spider shooting or poison darts. Not to mention our TransVIVAnia fancy dress contest and disco.

You can't miss the "Tunnel of Terror", where you'll have to run to avoid being caught by our Halloween characters. You'll be scared to death as you try to escape! We'll have a lighter version for the little ones.

Who says only children and young people can have fun?  In "Hotel TransVIVAnia", adults will have a complete programme of activities to keep fit and enjoy Halloween. The VIVA Fit category includes among others: stretching with Fran (yoga), the wolf chase (fitbike), Murray is dizzy, an acrobatics show, flexible skeleton (pilates), dance classes and live music.

As it cannot be any other way, on the last day we will say farewell in style, with guests able to take pictures with the monsters and enjoy "the final feast", putting an end to four days of activities, games, laughter, entertainment, competitions, scares and fun.

If you want to experience some "terrifying" days and enjoy a totally different Halloween night with your partner, family or friends, make your reservation at VIVA Blue & Spa as soon as possible

What are the origins of Halloween?

Halloween is a pagan holiday celebrated during the night of October 31st. Despite the widespread belief that this is a holiday whose origins come from the United States, it should be noted that its true origins were in the United Kingdom. Its name comes from an English phrase "All Hallows' Eve", or in other words, the eve of all the saints.

Eighteenth-century historians linked Halloween to an ancient pagan festival, a Celtic ritual known as Samhain, meaning the end of summer, coinciding with the arrival of the short, cold days of autumn.

It was celebrated at the end of the harvest season, to begin the new Celtic year, which coincided with the autumn solstice. On this night it was believed that the spirits of deceased loved ones walked among the living, and sacred feasts and rituals were performed, including communication with the dead.

The magic and fantasy that revolves around Halloween has turned this holiday into a special date for the youngest of the house. At VIVA Hotels, being hotels that specialise in family holidays, every year when the date comes we celebrate it in style. The VIVA Blue & Spa changes completely with incredible decor that makes children experience a holiday from the movies. If you've tried it, you know it's an unforgettable memory and a unique getaway for your children!  Come and enjoy this Halloween with Hotels VIVA!
