Mallorca isn’t only beaches, it also offers a large selection of hiking trails for enthusiasts of the sport and for those who have never done it before, they can try it out in a wonderful setting.

Hiking is an activity that’s become popular because compared to other ones, we interact with the environment and do something adventurous. Being motivated to go to a new and different place awakens our spirit of adventure.

However, why do we go hiking? It’s simple, it gets our body moving, increasing our blood flow, improves our breathing, gets us out of the pollution of the city, lowers LDL cholesterol  (the bad kind), and relaxes us even more when we go as a group.  So, we’re going to show you some of the best places to go hiking in Mallorca for an unforgettable adventure. You’ll be left wanting to do it all over again!

Torre de Cala en Basset

You can do a circular hike through a coastal area with magnificent views looking out on Sa Dragonera island, see the old monastery of La Trapa y Sant Elm in addition to a breath-taking beach.

From Cala Mesquida to Cala Torta

You’ll start the hike with some beautiful views of the irregular and rocky shore that leads to Cala Torta. After leaving Artà and going through a forest full of pine trees, you’ll then discover a path of sand and stones that will take you to Cala Mesquida where you can enjoy one of the best beaches in Mallorca.

Camino del Archiduque

This beautiful walk is recommended for couples and is perfect for sharing with friends. It takes a bit of physical effort, but it’s worth it to discover the mountain range Sierra de Tramuntana.

Valle de Boquer, Puerto de Pollença

It’s an enjoyable path surrounded by Mallorcan palm trees. And after the walk... you can take a dip in the crystal clear turquoise water of an unspoilt cove!  It’s perfect for doing as a family and doesn’t require any special equipment.

Urban heritage route through Esporles

If you want to go hiking and discover the most representative areas of the Sierra de Tramuntana range, this is the perfect route. You’ll be able to see architecture, mountains, genuine Mallorcan-style construction, modernist pieces, gothic buildings, etc. If you need a break, you can make a stop on a Passeig del Rei terrace to have a rest while enjoying a typical llonguet and taking in town life.

Find the route that best suits your tastes and go exploring on your Mallorca holidays. Hiking, in addition to being a relaxing activity, is healthy for us.

Now that you know some of the hiking routes you can do and the activities and surprises you’ll find, you’ll see what an idyllic place Mallorca is! Remember to always make sure your holidays are worry-free, with you playing the main role.
