 1- Day trips in Mallorca

A gothic-style castle built in the 14^th century for King James II of Mallorca. Located in a district surrounded by woods, from the upper part of the castle you can view the entire city of Palma with spectacular panoramas of the Sierra de Tramontana and the Pla de Mallorca.

These days it houses a museum devoted to the city’s history, and is thus open to the public.  This castle is a must-see highlight of any itinerary and is guaranteed to delight the younger members of the family.

3- A visit to Palma Cathedral

An authentic work of art in the gothic style. Also known as “La Seu”, it is a compulsory port of call for anyone visiting the island. Its construction was completed in 1346, and no subsequent work was carried out until 1601.

It is located very near the Bay of Palma, on the site of the Roman and Renaissance walls that formerly protected the city, making it a cathedral that is unique in the world. I can promise you that it will leave no-one indifferent.

4- S´Albufera Natural Park

The S´Albufera Natural Park is the largest and most important in the Balearic Islands, where you can find the greatest degree of diversity in indigenous flora and fauna. There are also small hides from which it is possible to observe the birds.

Ideal for touring by bicycle or on foot with your family, and afterwards I recommend that you get to know Muro beach: with its fine sand and crystal-clear water it is one of the largest on the island of the sun.
