Hace casi un año que os hablábamos en este post de la última edición del Ironman 70.3. Quedaban unos minutos para las 8 de la mañana cuando empezaba la quinta edición de uno de los acontecimientos deportivos más importantes de las islas Baleares, el Thomas Cook Ironman 70.3. Como cada año, Hotels Viva participó activamente en esta carrera en la que sólo vencen los verdaderos hombres y mujeres de hierro que durante meses entrenan y preparan uno de los días más importantes de su vida. A todos ellos no les hará falta leer este post para saberlo pero estamos felices de saber que sólo quedan tres meses para el nuevo Ironman 70.3 que se celebra en Mallorca.
Dentro de exactamente tres meses a estas horas habrá nervios, quizás empezará a haber cansancio, habrá seguro que mucha emoción y, sobre todo, habrá un gran grupo de valientes luchando por conseguir un reto que no es asequible para todos… Casi dos kilómetros de natación, noventa de ciclismo y más de 20 kilómetros de atletismo a los que se enfrentan cada año miles de personas y que sólo algunos logran completar. El año pasado las marcas fueron de 3 horas, 56 minutos y 48 segundos para el campeón masculino, el alemán Adreas Dreitz, y 4 horas, 17 minutos y 25 segundos para la campeona femenina, Daniela Ryf. ¿Quiénes serán los que recojan su testigo? En apenas 90 días podremos descubrirlo…

Only three months for the Ironman 70.3
It’s been almost a year since we talked you about the last edition of the Ironman 70.3 in this post. It was 5 minutes to eight when the fifth edition of one of the most important sporting events in the Balearic Islands, the Thomas Cook Ironman 70.3, started. As every year, Hotels Viva actively participated in this race in which only the real iron men and women can participate, those who train and prepare for months for one of the most important days of their lives. All of them don’t need to read this post to know it but we are happy to tell you that it’s only three months for the new Ironman 70.3 to be held in Mallorca.
In just three months there will be nerves, maybe someone will start to be tired and certainly there will be a lot of emotion and, above all, there will be a large group of brave men and women fighting for a challenge that is not affordable for everyone ... Almost two kilometers of swimming, ninety kilometers cycling and more than 20 kilometers of athletics that thousands of people try to accomplish every year but only a few can. Last year the marks were 3 hours, 56 minutes and 48 seconds for the men's champion, the German athlete Adreas Dreitz, and 4 hours, 17 minutes and 25 seconds for women's champion Daniela Ryf. Who will be the next ones? We will find it out in just 90 days...
