Las fiestas de Gràcia, se celebran en diferentes puntos de España, aunque sin duda, en ningún lugar las celebran de forma tan especial como en Mahón; ¡caballos, jaleo, cántico, vino y ginet!
La devoción hacia la Mare de Déu de Gràcia se remontaal siglo XV. El símbolo que mantiene esta pasión viva en Mahón es la ermita que lleva el nombre de la de la ciudad, situada junto al cementerio y que forma parte de la ruta Menorca Talaiòtica, Patrimonio Mundial.
Hablando de historia… este año se bate el récord de caballeros inscritos. En total, 192 caballos bailarán por las calles de Mahón. Del 6 al 9 de setiembre se llevan a cabo los actos más esperados de las fiestas, que son inaugurados por el fabioler, uno de los personajes más aclamados ya que con su tambor y flautín da el pistoletazo de salida a las fiestas. Después de este momento, la fiesta empieza. La emoción a flor de piel. Durante la puesta de sol, el baile más espectacular de las Islas Baleares empieza; el jaleo de los caballos menorquines, inconfundibles por su elegancia. Y desde aquí, te proponemos un reto; Consigue ver-te reflejado en en el espejo que llevan los caballos en su cara..¡da buena suerte! Si no lo consigues, siempre podrás volver a Mahón.

Passion for Mahón's village celebration
The celebration of Virgin of Gràcia is held in different villages of Spain. However, in anywhere else is celebrated so special as in Mahon; Horses, jaleo horse dance, wine and tradicional gyn-lemon called ginet or pomada!
Devotion to the Virgin of Gràcia dating back to the century XV. The symbol that keeps the passion alive in Mahon is the chapel which has de name of the Virgin and is located next to the cemetery. The historic building is part of Menorca talayotic route, World Heritage.
