Una de las tradiciones más arraigadas a las navidades españolas es la celebración de la llegada de los tres reyes magos al nacimiento de Jesús. Melchor, Gaspar y Baltasar son probablemente tres de los personajes más queridos por todos los niños y niñas y su llegada es uno de los primeros momentos de ilusión y alegría año tras año. Y eso que, uno de los regalos que se esconden en sus carrozas y que reparten cada 6 de enero es un buen saco de carbón a todos aquellos que se han portado mal… Pero en Hotels Viva sabemos que tanto los que nos han visitado este año como todo nuestro equipo de profesionales no van a tener que dudarlo a la hora de abrir sus regalos: a los que se portan bien, los reyes los recompensan. Y por ello, desde hotels Viva queremos hacer una pequeña lista de peticiones para que sus majestades tengan en cuenta qué nos gustaría para todos aquellos que forman parte de nuestra gran familia…
Para empezar, queremos una buena dosis de salud. No nos quejaremos si nos llega algún pequeño catarro e incluso aceptaremos algún que otro dolor de cabeza, pero sobre todo queremos que nuestros huéspedes, nuestros trabajadores y todos los que formamos parte de vida tengamos un año sano y saludable. Y para poder disfrutarlo, ¿qué tal si los reyes magos nos traen también una gran cantidad de amor? No sólo amor con nuestras parejas ni tampoco amor de ese que va de rojo y se convierte en rosas, bombones y corazones, queremos amor por las personas, amor por las cosas y amor por los buenos momentos que están por venir. Si el amor viene acompañado de ilusión, de esperanza y de cierta tranquilidad, mejor que mejor. Ya puestos, y sabiendo que hemos sido todos muy buenos y que, por eso, podemos hacer una lista un poco más extensa, queremos pedir una gran colección de sueños para todos. Que tengamos retos que perseguir, proyectos que cumplir y deseos que convertir en realidad. Y, cómo no, la guinda del pastel sería una gran cantidad de buena compañía: padres, hermanos, tíos, hijos, sobrinos, amigos de la infancia, compañeros de trabajo, personas que nos cruzamos cada día y nos lanzan una sonrisa, profesores y maestros dentro y fuera de la escuela, gente que nos hace sentir bien y que no sólo nos rodea, nos acompaña.
Como sabemos que los reyes van muy cargados, a lomo de sus camellos, y que queda poco espacio para peticiones de última hora como son estas, desde hotels Viva queremos que esta carte termine con un regalo que os hacemos nosotros, sin necesitar de la ayuda de sus majestades: la promesa de hacer que las vacaciones de este 2016 sean magníficas.
Esperamos que los reyes nos hagan caso y que todos recibáis la salud, el amor, los sueños y la buena compañía que merecéis y que, como siempre, os estará esperando en Hotels Viva. ¡Que disfrutéis de la cabalgata de los Reyes Magos y, recordad, si les dejáis unas galletas y un poco de leche, se van más contentos!
A letter to Their Majesties the Magic Kings
One of the most deeply rooted traditions in the Spanish Christmas is the celebration of the arrival of the three wise kings to Jesus' birth. Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar are probably three of the most beloved characters of all children and their arrival is one of the first moments of hope and joy year after year. No matter that one of the gifts that are hidden in their floats and distributed every January 6th is a good sack of coal to all those who have misbehaved... However in Hotels Viva we know that both those who have visited us this year as well as our entire team will not have that hesitation when it comes the moment to open their gifts: as you have been good, you will get the reward from the Kings. And so, from Hotels Viva we want to make a short list of requests so their majesties take into account what we would like for all those who are part of our family ...
We would like to start with a good dose of health. We shall not complain if we get a little cold and we will even accept the occasional headache, but above all we want our guests, our employees and all who are a part of Viva to have a safe and healthy year. And to enjoy it, what if the Magic Kings also bring us a lot of love? Not only with our partners nor that kind of red that is turnt into roses, chocolates an hearts, we want some love for people, love for things and love for the good times to come. Actually we would like love to come with illusion, hope and some peace and quiet. For that matter, and knowing that we were all very good and, therefore, we can do a little more extensive list, we order a large collection of dreams for everyone: challenges to pursue, projects to work in and wishes to come true. And, of course, we want to ask for a lot of good company: parents, brothers, uncles, sons, nephews, childhood friends, coworkers, people we met every day and throw us a smile, teachers in and out of school, people who make us feel good and that are not only around us, but with us.
As we know that kings are heavily loaded on the backs of their camels, and there is little room for last minute requests such as these, from hotels Viva we want to end this letter with a gift that does not need the aid Their Majesties: the promise to make this vacation 2016 absolutely magnificent.
We hope that the kings listen to us and so you all receive health, love, drams and the good company that you all deserve and that, as usual, will always be waiting for you in Hotels Viva.
