El día 4 de septiembre es un día muy esperado para los ‘’palmesanos’’ ya que llega Canamunt i Canavall, una fiesta en la que no te pueden faltar las pistolas de agua y el bañador. En esta ocasión se representa una antigua batalla que hubo entre los dos bandos de la ciudad de Palma a finales del siglo XVI.
El agua es el elemento principal de la fiesta, pero tranquilos, no es potable. Se reutilizará de algunas piscinas municipales para que acabéis mojados sin desperdiciar recursos. Para ir a la fiesta tenéis que decidir si pertenecéis al bando de Canamunt o al de Canavall, el primero es la ciudad alta o más moderna, y el segundo es la ciudad baja, el casco antiguo. Canamunt se distingue por el color rojo y Canavall por el amarillo.
A las 16h quedan los dos bandos, Canamunt en la plaza de Llorenç Bisbal y Canavall en la plaza de Drassanes. Entonces van hacia el Parc de la Mar, dónde tiene lugar el enfrentamiento. Hay música en directo, piscinas para reponer munición y sobre todo mucha diversión.

On 4 September is a highly anticipated for '' Palmesanos
' as it reaches Canamunt i Canavall, a party where you have to go with water guns and the swimsuit. This time represents an ancient battle that took place between the two sides of the city of Palma in the late sixteenth century.
Water is the main element of the party, but it is not potable. It is reused from some municipal pools to not wasting resources. To go to the party you have to decide if you belong to the part of Canamunt or Canavall, the first is higher or modern city, and the second is the lower town, the old town. Canamunt is distinguished by the color red and Canavall by the colour yellow.
At 16h the two sides go to the meeting point, Canamunt in the square of Llorenç Bisbal and Canavall in the Plaza de Drassanes. Then they go to the Parc de la Mar, where the confrontation takes place. There are Live music, swimming pools to replenish ammunition and above all a lot of fun.
