Playa de Muro

The gastronomic tradition of the island is very rich; it has a homemade flavour which has been transmitted from generation to generation through culinary knowledge, resulting in popular recipes that have acquired subtle differences in each home.

The local cuisine is distinctly Mediterranean in each of its ingredients and cooking methods. The island’s typical diet is based on simple food, but with a big helping of creativity and ingenuity. For special festive days the recipes are more elaborate, with exquisite and refined combinations and stuffings.

From Viva Hotels we’d like to share our selection of restaurants, combining more traditional places with the most avant garde ones.

Food has an important place in Majorcan life; each household serves the same dishes but with particular characteristics. It is in restaurants where this regional emphasis merges with more daring combinations, and why not? It is possible to taste dishes from all over the world. Variety is the spice of life; the following is a small selection of restaurants in Muro Beach, where you can sit at a table with your loved ones.
