  • Platja Gran

Starts at the town centre, and is part of the huge sandy area joining the Santa Margalida, Muro and Alcúdia municipalities.

  • Son Bauló

A small semi-urban beach, with vegetation indigenous to the area. The only Megalithic tomb found in Majorca carries the same name as this beach.

  • Son Real

A beach with dunes between Can Picafort and Son Serra de Marina; it is part of the property of the same name owned by the Balearic Government and declared a Natural Area of Special Interest (ANEI in Spanish).

  • S’Arenal des casat o Ses Assussenes

Two kilometres from Can Picafort lies this solitary beach, with fine sand and very little slope, so there is a long walk out in shallow water before you are unable to touch bottom. Ideal for bathers with young children.

  • Cala Serralot

Part of the Son Real Natural Area of Special Interest and frequented by locals; a sandy beach with quite gentle waves surrounded by low vegetation.

  • Punta de na Patana

Lying on calcareous rocks, it extends along the coast for 100 metres and combines sand with gravel; the waters flow quite gently. Revellar Pine Forest lies behind it.

  • Son Serra de Marina

The beach for the residential area of the same name; 400 metres of sandy area, and the visitors are generally local. Usually a light breeze blows on the beach, a feature which makes for a pleasant stay during the hot summer months.
