Our island is famous for its beaches, climate, nature and gastronomy. But it’s also famous for its excellent range of recreation spots for children in Mallorca.

In addition to restaurants, incredible sunsets, cocktail bars, coves with crystal-clear waters, romantic excursions, golf courses, charming hotels and museums, Mallorca has a wide variety of activities for children to suit all tastes and budgets.

From a tourist’s point of view, Mallorca is very versatile. And, far from the night-time hustle and bustle associated with other islands in the archipelago, it’s ideal for enjoying a family holiday.   • Beaches

Going to the beach is very popular in coastal tourist destinations. But what’s so special about Mallorca? Many of its beaches are adapted for children. For instance, Alcúdia Beach, Camp de Mar Beach, Albercuix Beach and Muro Beach are some great spots to take your kids.

  • Water parks

Children love water parks and on an island like Mallorca, this recreation option is a must.

It’s true that some hotels for children in Mallorca, such as Hotels VIVA, have swimming pools with slides or their famous pirate ship. But if you want to take the opportunity to give your children a treat during your stay in Mallorca, don't think twice. They’ll love our three large water parks. This nature reserve is a real paradise located in the Tramuntana mountain range. During your visit, you’ll be able to walk a path of just over 3 kilometres along a trail that’s suitable for all ages, and which is full of caves and waterfalls.

One of the most famous parks in Palma is Sa Faixina, in the centre of the city. It has a space designed for babies and another for older children.

The Parc de Ses Fonts, meanwhile, has castles that the little ones will have fun playing in. It includes an area that’s ideal for a stroll in the evening where you’ll be able to enjoy the sunset.

Another well-known children's playground in Mallorca is the Parc de la Mar, at the foot of the cathedral and near the seaside promenade.

  • Rancho Grande Park
