It’s undoubtedly one of the best water parks in Spain, and this summer it has reopened its doors to welcome families who are looking for a fun day out on the island. HidroPark is a family park with a wide range of attractions - discover all it has to offer for adults and children!

HidroPark is the only water park in the north of the island, occupying 40,000 metres, and full of different water attractions, restaurants, and rest areas for a day of total entertainment. You can find it in Puerto de Alcúdia, very close to our hotels, and the city centre.

It’s an ideal place to visit with your kids and swap the pool or the beach for some adrenaline-filled activities. We’ll tell you everything you need to know about it here!

The best water park for kids

HidroPark is a family water park that’s designed to guarantee an amazing day for you and your family – you’ll be able to enjoy the summer again just like you used to before. Although the park has had to reopen with special measures due to the pandemic, this won’t prevent you from having a ball with your family on all its water rides.

It's a day out that can never fail, especially if you're travelling with kids. Enjoy a day of fun and adrenaline with the different rides and attractions offered by HidroPark, among which you’ll find all kinds of slides, a wave pool, mini-golf, and much more.

Among all these attractions, we can highlight the "Kids Zone", a new area designed especially for children. It’s important to remember that the rides and attractions have different regulations on minimum and maximum heights, in order to guarantee the safety of all the visitors to the park.

In addition to all of this, you’ll also find free parking at the water park, as well as several restaurants, solarium areas with sun loungers for hire and green spaces where you can settle down on your own towel and relax during the day.

How to get to HidroPark

Known for being the best family water park on the island, HidroPark attracts lots of families, both tourists and locals. You can find it in Puerto de Alcúdia and it’s easily accessible from any of the VIVA hotels, and also if you’re staying in and around the Alcúdia Bay area.

If you’re driving, it’s only 8 minutes from Alcúdia to HidroPark, or around 25 minutes on foot. Alternatively, you can take an inexpensive taxi if you’re in Alcúdia Bay.

From VIVA Blue & Spa, VIVA Eden Lago or VIVA Sunrise, HidroPark is no more than 10 minutes away by car. And, if you're staying at VIVA Cala Mesquida, it's less than an hour's drive.

HidroPark Mallorca is open from 10am to 6pm in July and August, and we recommend that you buy your tickets on their website. There are 2 different rates: adults, and children up to 10 years old. If you buy your tickets online, you’ll get a small discount on the normal entrance price.

If you plan to go more than once to HidroPark, we recommend that you buy the special HidroPark Pass, which is valid until the 5th of September, allowing you to enter as many times as you want. This voucher is personal and non-transferable, so each member of the family must have their own.

What are the safety measures at the water park?

Due to the health and safety regulations currently in force in the Balearic Islands, HidroPark has taken measures to guarantee the safety of all its visitors. Due to COVID regulations, there’s a maximum capacity in the water park, and so we recommend that you buy tickets online and in advance. If you can, avoid the weekends, as this is when most people visit the park.

In order to avoid crowding, they have created designated routes to enter and exit the park. In addition, visitors are required to keep a safe distance in the common areas and, above all, in the queues to use the rides. Some rides have had to reduce the number of people allowed to use them at any one time, in order to ensure safety distance, and this can lead to slightly longer waiting times than usual.

Inside the park, the use of face masks is mandatory except when using the rides and there are hand sanitiser dispensers throughout the park. There have also been changes to the restaurants and food services to ensure health and safety.

If you plan to visit Mallorca, HidroPark is a must if you want to have a great time with your family this summer.

¡VIVA the summer!
