Regardless of where you choose to spend your holiday in Mallorca, the nearest golf course won’t be far away. This idyllic paradise has 23 top quality golf courses where you can play golf all year round, thanks to the incredible climate.

Playing golf on the island of the sun combines everything that makes the sport so fantastic: a variety of golf courses located in the beautiful surroundings of the island, accommodation for golfers, excellent training conditions for professionals, wellbeing, a spa…and everything you could want within easy reach. Get to know the best golf courses in Mallorca!

Golf Capdepera

Characterised above all by its friendly, family atmosphere, its motto is “play golf in Mallorca and feel right at home”. It has a combination of flat and more hilly areas and it’s unbeatably situated between the Castillo de Capdepera and Artà.

Your experience will be made special by the different levels on offer. In the valley, the holes are relatively easy, while the holes to be found in Mallorca’s Levante hills will be quite a challenge.

The clubhouse deserves a special mention, because for many golf enthusiasts it encapsulates the most beautiful, Mallorca-style estates.

Hole number 15 is of particular interest because it enables you to soak in the impressive, panoramic views of the valley and Mediterranean coast. Mallorca Magazine has named it “the most idyllic hole on the island”. You have to see it for yourself!

Golf Alcanada

Located on the coast, this golf course has spectacular views of the sea, the lighthouse and Alcanada Bay.

You’ll fall in love with this course with its more than 6,000 metres of fairway and 18 holes where you can practise your favourite sport. In the first nine fairways you’ll find a mountainous landscape replete with pine and olive trees. The other nine will take your breath away, because they are shaped to accommodate the uneven terrain between the placid sea and the mountains.

If you want to stop for a rest there’s a bar and restaurant area where you can charge your batteries. The difficulty level is medium-high because of the layout, so you should plan your strategy during the game. You won’t be disappointed!

Golf Pollensa

Located on a small hill from which you can contemplate the impressive Sierra de Tramontana mountains, the beautiful Bays of Pollença and Alcudia and the magnificent S’Albufera nature reserve.

The Pollensa golf course is right in the heart of the Mallorcan landscape, with nine holes, two of which are the longest in Mallorca! Wherever you look you’ll be surrounded by the magnificent olive trees that are typical of the area. The difficulty level is medium with undulating terrain, water hazards and stone walls to add a touch of extra excitement to your game. Perfect for any handicap!

Golf San Gual

A varied course, as the terrain is made up of a mixture of flat and hilly areas, and the enormous water hazards will require the full extent of your technical and tactical repertoire.

Prepare to be seduced by the spectacular landscape and the breathtaking surroundings, which will fill you with inspiration. The difficulty level is medium, with particularly challenging fairways and a lake as an added hazard ensuring that you’ll enjoy this course to the full.

Golf Canyamel

Each green has its distinctive characteristics: some offer beautiful vistas of the sea while from others you can spy the idyllic island of Menorca. The surroundings are natural, typical of Mallorca and located right in the heart of two major tourist areas, Cala Ratjada and Cala Millor.

The spectacular golf course covers a small valley that slopes gently down towards the sea. It is a par 73 18-hole course designed in 1988 by the architect José Gancedo. The par 4 ninth hole is unique. There’s a small stone house right in the middle, making it harder to complete its 320 metres in four shots. If you like a challenge, this is the one for you!

Hole 18 is incredible, featuring a triple undulation that you can appreciate from the clubhouse terrace, rather like an “auditorium that opens out to the mountains”.

Golf de Andratx

This dreamy course lies nestled between the mountains and Camp de Mar bay. No fewer than 60 bunkers demand full concentration in the mountainous terrain.

Its 18 holes have proved ideal for championships, and it’s famous for being one of the most outstanding and challenging courses in the Mediterranean. You’re going to need a good level!

The par 5 hole 8 will allow you to revel in the spectacular views of Camp de Mar bay. However, if you’re daring enough, we’d recommend the “Green Monster” (hole 6, par 5), the largest in Spain, presenting many players with challenges that are “virtually” unfathomable. Can you master it?

Have you plumped for a golf course? It’s a hard decision to make, as each course on the island has its own unique charm. There’s nothing better than combining a relaxing holiday with your favourite sport. Come and savour the experience!
