Being on holiday with children is a sure-fire way for grown-ups to have fun too, because little ones have the knack of infecting parents and relatives with their desire to enjoy everything to the utmost! And this helps you make the most even of small things and live in the moment.
But for everything to go perfectly, it's important to consider things from the kids' point of view and ensure that at least part of the holiday is right for what they want and need.
That's why our hotels for kids have facilities and entertainment activities especially for them - meaning that children can have fun without restrictions and socialise with other kids and the entertainment team. And, let's be honest, it also means their parents can relax and enjoy themselves, safe in the knowledge that their children are being well looked after and having a great time.
At Hotels VIVA the word 'boredom' has been removed from our dictionary! And even less so for children, thanks to our exceptional entertainment programme: the VIVA Cool Kids Only Club.

A wide range of activities and games for children under the supervision of our experienced monitors 7 days a week across a broad timetable: from 10am to 1pm and 3pm to 6pm.
Two different groups, according to age: Minis aged 4 to 7, and Maxis aged 8 to 11.
Awards and medals for children who win games and races.
We've created original games such as Pirate Fun, VIVA Mini Chef and Pirate Splash.
And of course traditional games like treasure hunts, pony-riding and T-shirt painting.
In the evenings, we put on kids' shows and a Mini-disco: VIVA stars, Bufo Theatre, Circus and Magic Pirate Disco, where children can display what they have learned during the day.
Mondays are special because kids activities run right through from 10am to 4pm and includes our Pirate Lunch, where children can eat together if they feel like it and give their parents an extra break.
And many more surprises...
Bufo and Katty are the official mascots of Hotels VIVA. Bufo is a friendly dog and Katty is a cute little cat, both disguised as pirates.
When they are at the swimming pool, in the games room or taking part in activities, it creates a party atmosphere for kids. Especially when pirate-dog Bufo gets the children to make up their faces, they love it.
Bufo normally comes through the hotel during the day, either to liven things up at the swimming pool or to help the children taking part in the VIVA Mini Chef 'Fruit Kebabs' activity with or during 'Picture Time', and kids can take as many photos as they want with Bufo and Katty.
And every evening Bufo and/or Katty attend the 'Pirate Mini Disco'. But without question, the magical moment for children is when both mascots, Bufo and Katty, show up by the pool or mini-club at the same time.
At the end of each evening, during the main show, we have extra activities for kids. This is great for their parents too, because the kids continue having fun with our entertainment team whilst their parents are able to enjoy relax into the evening.
To round off a magical evening, parents, children and entertainers all dance together at our Dance Club.
