Puerto de Alcudia
DESTINATION INFO
It is one of the oldest towns in Majorca. These days, the municipality consists of several different centres of population: Alcúdia, Puerto de Alcudia, Alcanada and Es Barcarès Es Mal Pas.
The town has a rural feeling, with marés stone houses along narrow cobbled streets, decorated by the inhabitants with plants and flowers. For anyone visiting the north of the island, a tour of this town is unmissable.
For lovers of hustle and bustle, Puerto de Alcudia is at an accessible distance, with a wide range of bars, restaurants and stores where you can go shopping and buy a souvenir of your holidays. There is a wide range of bars and clubs for night owls.
Alcanada is a village mostly of holidaymakers; the inhabitants of inland Majorca move to the coastal areas during the hot summer months. It is worth mentioning its beautiful lighthouse, the Ben Yacobinick Foundation and the golf course that melds into the sea and the mountain. In the Victòria area, small villages alternate with nature in its wildest and most unspoilt state: a place with plenty of small beaches and cliffs which will delight people with a wide range of interests.
