Capdepera has a lot to offer to those interested in the culture of the region.

Torre de Canyamel
This formerly defence tower is an excellent viewpoint on the bay of Canyamel and great part of the municipalities of Capdepera, Artá and Son Servera.

Sa Creu Vella.
Located at the start point of the township of Capdepera and surrounded by the Talaiotical town of Sos Sastres.

El Castell. Inside the fortified town of Capdepera, there is an important castle which is one of the most interesting historical spots on the island, thus it was built on the request of the King James III in the year 1300 AD. It is situtated on a strategic place with an overall view of the Minorcan channel as well as the island of Minorca.

Caves of Artá. Found in the year 1896 by Pere Garau i Serra, these caves are a very good option for those who enjoy their holidays in Majorca.The beauty of these grottos furrowed by underground lakes and formed with stalactites, stalagmites and winding-shape columns, create an impressive scenario that evokes the feeling of being on a different world hidden from the sunbeams.
The Artà caves are located on the coast in the municipality of Capdepera, in the Cap Vermell, surrounded by mountains that tower the sea. The caves have been visited since times gone by and it is very likely that the island’s primitive inhabitants knew of them, as did the various populations that later inhabited the island.

Calendar.

Two markets take place weekly on this area, every saturday on Cala Ratjada and every wednesday on Capdepera.
- 17th January: Feasts of Sant Antoni.
- Every third weekend of May: Medieval market in the area round the castle.
- 16th July: Feasts of Our Lady del Carme.
- 24th August: Summer festivities.
- 18th de december: Feast of Our Lady de l’Esperança.
