“Vermar Festivity”, Binissalem (Majorca).

During the last week of September, the festivity par excellence is the Vermar one, in Binissalem. The streets are specially decorated, coaches, dances, songs and above all, the local wine that accompanies the people from Binissalem. Year after year, there is great collaboration from the citizens of other parts of Majorca. The quality of Binissalem wine, more recognized thanks to Jules Verne’s mention; “this wine is known further that in the Main Land, it has been quickly extended”.
This village, Binissalem, that has been declared part of the Historic-artistic group in 1983, gives name to the Denomination Binissalem-Majorca, where its broths are appreciated for their good flavour, deep colour and especial aroma.
